Hello, I’m Brooke

So what got me started in user experience?

Ever since I was young I’ve been mesmerized by puzzles, sudoku, and anything I could solve with my hands. Today I still do sudoku everyday and enjoy every puzzle I can find (Tricky is currently my favorite puzzle app!) Along the way I found I also have a deep love for art. Majoring in history of art in college. I love the beauty and visceral understanding that can be seen in the contents of a few brushstrokes.

Now after years of experience in the art, design, and architectural world. I was drawn to understanding why. Why an element was the best design, why certain element of a home are structured certain ways, why.

In user experience design I can not only discover why, I can solve pain points for others and improve the digital world!

So who am I, in a nut shell: I use my compassion and persistence to question and challenge the environment I’m in, and I aspire to determine better solutions to solve the world's problems. I’m driven by a sense of altruism and realism to see the world as it is and aspire to improve it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Whats interesting me today?
